Umbra
Student film made in collaboration with Taarini Ravjit and Saket Ghaisas
Umbra is a traditionally animated 2d short film, made in our fourth year at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. It follows an explorer who ventures where she shouldn't have in search of hidden treasure, and faces the consequences. The film was animated on paper, and then coloured and cleaned up digitally on TV Paint. The backgrounds were also all drawn by hand and coloured digitally.
We were just having fun thinking of all the ways we could kill our protagonist.
