Queer Swipe Stories
Tinder India x Gaysi FamilyMuseum of Queer Swipe Stories is a curated archival project by Tinder and Gaysi Family that seeks to collect the many moods, experiences and complexities of queer dating.
Based on a true story, this is how Meera and Priya met on Tinder, worked together on zoom, introduced their pets to each other virtually, kept each other company online, and started something epic!
The film was super joyful to work on. At the time of making this, I was in the process of coming out to myself, and also talking to someone really wonderful who I met on a dating app, which felt wonderful. I was hoping to, with the visuals, capture the joy of having a new crush, and the excitement of just getting to know someone without knowing where it is going.
My favourite collaborators Taarini and Saket helped me bring this film to life, and Teenasai’s music gave everyone all the feelings.
